Founded in 2014 by interior designer Naz Azarbaijani and former partner, Studio nopa is a design studio & advisory focusing on high-end residential design and collectible furniture.
The studio’s projects include interior architectural design, residential and commercial design, product design, and furniture brand collaborations.
In 2015, Studio nopa opened its first pop-up furniture boutique, ‘nopa Concept’.
In 2017 Studio nopa opened ‘nopa House’, a project re-introducing Danish furniture design to the local community. The ‘nopa House’ building was renovated by Studio nopa, and included the Danish Design store ‘Fritz Hansen’, and a multi-level furniture gallery curated from Denmark.
Numerous exhibitions curated by the creative director and the nopa team were held in the nopa gallery space including design talks, and many collaborations with local art galleries, furniture artists, museums, and the Danish Embassy in Iran .
As of 2021, Studio nopa is based in Manhattan, New York City.
